       Problem I struggle with as a tech lead on a new project: effectively getting the vision out of my head and to my team.Right now I'm very much feeling "I could have done this all myself by now".This probably says now about me than my team

       @ash have you read the eleven laws of showrunning? http://okbjgm.weebly.com/uploads/3/1/5/0/31506003/11_laws_of_showrunning_nice_version.pdfIt's ostensibly about running a TV show, but I think most of it is directly applicable to software management too:  in particular the bits about how important it is to get the creative vision out of your head and into your lieutenants so that they can go and make creative decisions in support of that vision without you needing to approve every single one of them
