In the past, Elimination Chamber was the place that usually gave use the second WM challenger (after the Royal Rumble winner) for the championship that the RR winner didn't go for. After unifying the belts last year, there isn't really a clear prize for the winner of the Elimination Chamber. Feels like we're in a bit of a lull now till WM gets closer.I still love Money in the Bank the most. Every ppv has to have a theme which kills the uniqueness of some of the match types like Money in the Bank, EC, and Hell in a Cell. Because of the "theming" of ppvs, I doubt EC will go back to being a periodic thing, unfortunately.

Yeah i think it an money in the bank are stuck unfortunately. Id be happy if they just went back to in your house and it was something different every month outside of the big 4. I still am not convinced that WrestleMania won't be a three way for romans titles. I figure fall for one belt second fall for the other so Cody can take one and sami can come up short. @swattysquad That sounds like a more entertaining storyline than we will probably get.It does make the most sense to have an elimination chamber winner also contend for the title, but I'm not sure if they'll go that way. I hope they do. I hope they don't build the Intercontinental Championship or something like that around the elimination chamber. If you're going to name a pay-per-view after a match, that match should be for the overall heavyweight championship.(Personally I think the Hell in the Cell pay-per-views were the most egregious waste of a match style. It's supposed to be the most brutal rare match, so having it every year really waters it down. Someone is supposed to nearly die for crying out loud, but we get ladies hitting each other with Kendo sticks instead now.)

@swattysquad Thank you for the update. I've been busy with a bunch of personal stuff. So I haven't caught as much wrestling as I want. I instinctively knew that they weren't going to put anything interesting in the elimination chamber. They really let it go downhill recently, which sucks. The last really memorable event in elimination chamber was Shawn Michaels super kicking Undertaker to let Jericho beat him to set up the WrestleMania match for Taker and hbk.

@swattysquad Totally understandable. It feels like the first five to eight years of a match style is innovative and has a lot of great events, but then they run out of things to do with it. Especially because they inhibit what the wrestlers are allowed to do now. So they just turn it into a pay-per-view title. I have the same feelings as you in regards to money in the bank.I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I think the legendary ladder match between the Dudleys, the Hardy Boyz, and Edge and Christian at WrestleMania probably inspired the later Money in the Bank matches, because it showed Vince what potential the ladder matches had. Still one of the top three matches I ever saw. I thought someone was going to die.

@swattysquad Yeah. Seth's cash in at WrestleMania for money in the bank was fantastic, but like you said, that's been an eternity ago. I love the potential that's always there with the briefcase, which is my favorite part. King of the Ring would be fantastic to bring back. I like the build up to it, but like all the other things were talking about, they bungled the payoff on all of these things recently. They haven't delivered a good payoff for Money in the Bank briefcase and they made the King of the Ring a joke the last couple times they did it, mocking the winners as king so and so. Like King Corbin. They buried their own winners. It feels like the writers are burying these guys to make themselves laugh, rather than build up the new guys. I don't know if any of those writers are still around, but if they are, Triple H needs to fire whatever idiots wrote that crap and bring in some decent guys. The writers have sucked ever since the ruthless aggression era. Remember when they had Freddie Prinze Jr join the smackdown writing staff?

That goes way back.The only other big ones I remember that I attended were Adam Cole's debut in NXT at NXT Takeover, and the 2003 Rumble where Lesnar went over. Unfortunately, I didn't go to the RAW after WM after WM 29 where the whole audience did the Flamenco dance when he came out to wrestle. I was watching it on TV at my hotel. That looked like fun.
