I bet 'rebooting' #Twitter can take quite some time overall :thinktink: All our servers are rebooted and online again within seconds :blobcathighfive: Ofc the scale is different but than again, we are just one server in the enitre network!Twitter can go offline, the #Fediverse however can not! Only individual nodes(instances) but the entire network down is as good as 0,00% I guess! :fediverse:

@stux I am on small server with few users and admin is my close friend so I know when our Mastodon is going to reboot. It seems like it's rather quick process without noticeable downtime. Not sure how it is for big instances.

@madargon Same here :ablobwink: Thing is, for mstdn for example we have 4 servers in total so thats 4 seperate reboots if needed :blobcatgiggle: But otherwise seconds ⚡

@stux He probably unplugged something necessary for rebooting Twitter. He went on an unplugging spree in his first week, boasting that it didn't seem to make a difference.
