@Jessica exactly, you need to add more. 2.3GB is basically nothing for Firefox anyway, mine's using only 2.1 on half as much available storage

@Jessica I've noticed that too. It really loves (crashing) its live streams. So what do you do to fix it, and how would I do that on Windows?

@nus what I did to help firefox be a little less asholey is create a custom perfs file using https://ffprofile.com/ and putting that in. basically you're replacing the items in about:config with a fresh one. and to fix the memory issue, I have a program which forces garbage collection for all active processes. what you can do is right click, create a shortcut, open properties, add `/O firefox.exe` to the end of it. that will run a reduce memory, but only on firefox. https://www.sordum.org/9197/reduce-memory-v1-6/

@nus or you can create a shortcut and backspace the firefox.exe for the program to quietly clean the ram of the whole system. after that, if you want it to run on a schedule, you open task scheduler, click create task, give it a name, go to the actions tab, click new, set action to Start a program, add the exe, and then the stuff you added to the end of the shortcut you paste into the arguments box. go to triggers, and then the top dropdown is where you want to look, everything else is pretty self-explanitory.

@Jessica thank you for giving me a download for more RAM, I didn't know such a thing existed. Time to wait for a YouTube livestream to see if it actually works... I'll try remembering to report back if it does. :blobgoat:

@nus if you want a shortcut to be accessible from the start menu, drag it to `C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs`
