What delivery tracking app do my fellow #iOS users like nowadays? I stopped using Deliveries and Parcel a little while ago. I’m looking for something that can reliably pull tracking info (especially Amazon!) from email. #Apple

@frank I just use Amazon. I also got signed up for texts through ups so anything coming that way sends me multiple texts

@frank I used to use Deliveries but currently use Parcel. The issue with Amazon is that they’ve intentionally removed order details from their emails for “security reasons”, with the side effect that apps like Deliveries and @parcel cannot obtain order info from them You have to use the built-in integration features that have access to your account, but those tend to be slow to update and often lose connection. You’ll notice that Amazon emails these days basically say “your order has shipped” without any order detail, so if you want to know which order it is you need to go to their app. My assumption is that Amazon did this on purpose to force users into their app for order info and status, presumably with the hope that you’ll buy more stuff while you’re there.I’ve found Parcel to be great for everything else.

@brentac yeah im just looking for something that integrates amazon deliveries with other stuff too, and that can be automated. I stopped using Deliveries because I was spending too much time managing Gmail rules to forward stuff to the app, and it was more work than just manually checking. But it’s been a couple years now and I was curious what the landscape looks like today.

@swotam @frank I can confirm that for a while now Amazon integration is very stable. Yes, it does rely on your devices to make updates (credentials are stored only locally on your devices) but if you have Parcel on multiple devices - it won’t be a problem.

@parcel Well that sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! I was on the TestFlight beta a couple of years back. Is that still active?
