Got new Soundpeats headphones with the #LDAC codec. I knew that LDAC was semi lossless (similar to FLAC or ALAC) but I was not expecting that the latency would be so small.I can properly edit video or do music with these earbuds. The LDAC codec is proprietary but with a weirdly open encoder but decoding is locked down with patent licenses.It's probably the best performing bluetooth codec for Linux and Android right now.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LDAC_(codec)We'll see what happens after the patent expires.

@meka As I understand it is not bit for bit lossless like flac but no degradation of the higher frequency like in the same way that Apple Lossless works. This is only true in the ~900Kbps mode.

@art Thanks again for the suggestion. I picked up their Air3 deluxe buds that also support LDAC. Amazing sound quality for $50 headphones.
