Some #Nintendo #3DS emulation tips on #SteamDeck:- cap framerate to 30 FPS (unless the game has a higher framerate than that)- set the TDP all the way down to 3 W- set GPU clock all the way down to 200 MHz- disable SMT with PowerTools, use only 2 threads- set max CPU clock to 2,000 MHz- downclock the system's memoryShould get you about 6 hours of battery life, maybe even more!

Kind of found it funny I couldn't upload this screenshot to my Steam library, I guess Valve has some sort of detection filter if there is a Nintendo game running on their system? 🤣

@linuxgamingcentral The FPS cap is absolutely amazing by itself for most games.

@linuxgamingcentral Is there a way to save a template so you dont have to make these changes each time?

@NO_PULSE_XBL @linuxgamingcentral Yep, this is kinda what puts me off emulating some stuff. I just want to fire up a game and get going, especially with it being handheld and I usually pick it up because I want to get some quick gaming in between kids needing attention. I haven’t for the memory or time to configure the Deck each time I switch systems.

@Darren @NO_PULSE_XBL You CAN pick up and play these games; you just won't be getting the battery benefits.
