       Every child in Europe must be protected and respected online. We are at work to deliver on this commitment and make them informed digital citizens. To mark the 20th anniversary of Safer Internet Day, we released two child-friendly booklets and a web game to introduce them to the Digital Rights and Principles Declaration and the Better Internet for Kids Strategy.        @eliasr @EU_Commission Seconding the request to immediately block "Chat Control 2." Encryption and systems without back doors are vital for "the good guys" for digital security, and privacy is a basic human right that should not be able to be exploited because of the wrongdoing of a few. This law would go against both of those basic concepts.

       @EU_Commission Unfortunately the most dangerous place for children is not the Internet, but their homes.Children who are victims of violence - physical, secual, psychological violence - usually know their perpetrators very well. They are members of the families, neighbours or close friends of the parents. None of this is mentioned in your high profile political stunts. There would be stronger arguments to monitor children’s rooms instead of Internet communication.

       @EU_Commission This is at best misleading. These pamphlets give of a false impression that some of these statements, that aren't worded as rights, are just facts.The worst offender is the last paragraph about the environmental impact of electronic devices.
