       I know everybody is sick, and tired of protesting...but it seems great abuses are being wreaked on the American people, and one doesn't hear a peep. Where are the loud Dem voices? What about bigwig celebrities, professors, experts, people who could stand in the way of the fascist agenda? When did we collectively decide to suffer this bullshit?

       @Tilopa I personally believe we as a nation decided during the Reagan revolution that we don't actually like freedom, decent wages and common sense. Then came 9\11 and we gave everything away including our privacy. I have no clue what could get us back to decency other than an outside threat to pull us together....aliens maybe

       @EWM @Tilopa Hate to intrude on the discussion. We've had a few outside threats in the last 25 years. The one that pulled the US together, 9/11, is the one that the billionaires used to take most of what was left after Reagan and Clinton.  People like Charles Koch and Rupert Murdoch see catastrophes as a chance to make even more money. Sociopaths can't continue to be allowed to hoard money and assets. For everyone's sake, including their own. The endgame is bloody, and it's bad for everyone.

       @EWM @Tilopa It's the corporatist media-infotainment complex that keeps wanting us to believe the worst in all things and to be afraid. Most discussions I have with average people seem always to settle on their fears as a basis for their opinions.        @DaveRussell @EWM @Tilopa Agreed, the impulse to accumulate vast sums of wealth is a mental illness and should be defined as such. They should be collected for treatment and their wealth confiscated. Though confiscation by the government is distasteful, I'll not shed any tears for the wealthy.
