       Update on Sadge the duckling: still doing well, likes to cuddle with beanie baby swan. Still no luck finding her some buddies at local feed stores so she will just have to wait for our next group of ducks to hatch in a week. In the meantime she is getting lots of attention from all of us.

       Oh I'm aware she might, but she was pretty pitiful out in the brooder tub all alone. That's what the beanie baby swan is for. We've had a house duck before, don't intend to make Sadge one--once she has some more babies to imprint on she will adjust fine.
