@GreenFire @Agora People must take into account that ALL Americans are not "progressive." However, most do want progress. And anytime we move towards making lives better for the American people, that's progress! We must be pragmatic, realistic in our approach to progress and should be willing and able to work across party lines to implement laws that benefit everyone with compromise. The problem is that most progressives want it their way or nothing at all. There has to be compromise.

And almost all of the Sanders supporters that voted for Trump were white conservative leaning people, meaning that they were won over from the right to support Bernie. Democrats can unite when they need to. Those are difficult, but I hope we manage sooner rather than later.Voter suppression is so prevalent still imo because voter turnout for state-level elections has declined even worse than for national level ones.
