@stux Was the estimable Mr Obama present, awarding, or awarded?I belong to a couple of clubs. We have competitions and prizes. It is probably a primate thing.I don't suppose show business is going to be different.

@stux Yeah, people being famous for being famous are people I ignore.If you are famous because you do a thing and are good enough at it to have become, sure.But I'd rather talk to people that have something to say, can hold a conversation and I can learn something from.

It totally depends on where the focus of a person lies ofc but perhaps some people should be generally known like Einstein, Netwon but also Armstrong 🌔 :blobcatgiggle: Celebs are totally okay but maybe in addition to the ppl who really did something for the planet or hoomans etc

@stux My daughter and I watch it every year. But after the fact & over a few nights ad free on Paramount+. I don’t care who wins. I like to see the performances. Sure, there are duds but there are usually some standouts. #TheGrammys
