🆕 blog post: Can’t resize certain Android apps on your Chromebook? Back in September, I shared my positive experiences with #Android app resizing on #Chromebooks. It turns out you can’t resize certain Android apps if the developer doesn't allow it.https://www.aboutchromebooks.com/news/cant-resize-certain-android-apps-on-your-chromebook-heres-why/

@kevinctofel In this specific case of Instagram, isn't there a full featured (and resizable) web app, though?

@ondra Why use a perfectly good web app when you can use a less good Android app? 🤣 I hear you and this is why I tend to use web / PWA over Android apps on my Chromebook. Some people just want to use Android for some reason. 🤷‍♂️

@kevinctofel I was just surprised not to see it at least mentioned in your article. :) Some people are so conditioned to use apps for everything, especially certain services that existed only as platform-specific apps for a long time that they might not be aware or did not think of just using a webapp.

@ondra good point. To me, using a web app where one is available, feels obvious. But that’s likely because I’ve used ChromeOS for a decade and have always relied primarily on the web. 😉 Still, I agree with you and will update the post to mention using Instagram on the web. Thanks!
