       Help! Just found out my admin has disappeared and I think this server is going to be defederated. Anyone have a good, open server you like I can go to? Maybe with some moderators?And any links to how-to guides for moving servers?#movingservers #help

       @KatMA I enjoy mstdn.social and @stux seems like a righteous dude. The only tricky part to moving servers is you lose the people you're following and have to go find them again (you can keep people following you). I assume there must be a utility to help with that out there somewhere though.

       @blueberrywerewolf @KatMA You can export followings lists and import them again on the new account :-) Followers can be transferred once every 30 days

       @stux No clue. I was off of the Fediverse for a few weeks for various reasons and came back to find my feed almost empty. Some nice person let me know that @Artifex had let ppl on the server know that the admin had gone AWOL and we had to move
