DagonAbout the Author:HP Lovecraft is an American author born in New England in the early 20th century and is the father of the style of fiction that would come to be known as cosmic horror.The theme that is present in all of his works and which characterizes cosmic horror is that of the smallness and insignificance of man before the vastness of the universe.He wrote a great many short stories, and wrote tens of thousands of letters to other authors who were writing similar stories in pulp magazines at the time, such as Robert E.
