       Is it possible to use #blockchain or any #P2P techs to make a #SNS app like mastodon?It might be good to have a completely #decentralized, server-less social media.Does anybody know anything about this topic? I’m looking for a good side project I can work on.

       @citrus_marine One of the issues with social networking is that people are not ready to pay for shitposting. Even if it's micropayment, signing transaction for every comment or like/boost is kinda tiring. I've been following SubSocial project ( https://subsocial.network/ ) on #polkadot , they started as network where everything works on blockchain, then switched to fedi-like architecture (with relays which allowed off-blockchain communications) and ended up as NFT project

       @citrus_marine the closest project on fedi is #mitra which is generic #activitypub server with blockchain integrations. One of them is that you could convert a specific post to NFT, which turns it into server-less one )Contributors are welcome https://codeberg.org/silverpill/mitra/issues
