@bornach @dfc Ah yes, Crazy Ken. While I deal with somewhat sketchy folks on eBay from time to time, I've never been burned, BUT I always buy memory and batteries through established sources, mostly Best Buy. I deal with Amazon as infrequently as possible, for reasons.

I buy all memory direct from the manufacturers. Sometimes I use amazon to see what the selection is.The amount of counterfeit product today is amazing. Volumes are so high that thin margins make money. I won't bore you with my experiences, velcro, superglue, radio chips, SDcards, ...@lauren
