@stopgopfox ... The gun industry, like the tobacco industry, kills its own customers, so they need a constant stream of new smokers and gun owners to survive. Threatening vulnerable women, thereby forcing them to acquire a firearm, is a feature, not a bug, of the Ruger business model. Clarence Thomas, a violent thug, likely has a significant chunk of his portfolio invested in guns, a growth industry because he made it a growth industry. And we are all too cowardly to impeach him, even after 1/6.

@SocialistStan @newtonsommelier I don't think -- personally -- there is any point, regardless of politics, of trying to take guns from the masses. There are too many guns out there.With dangerous individuals like domestic abusers, keeping a watchful eye on them and restricting their access to all weapons seems prudent after their history of violence and emotional instability.Like with Alex Jones, it seems the civil courts might be the place to push back against the gun companies.
