       I see soft armor still existing in numbers.  That's a textile skill which can still exist,  but I don't see hard plates like ceramic or even hotdog water AR500 being common.Maybe as heirloom items from the days of yor,  like the Suit in Don Quixote's storage.

       @roadkilleater Possibly, but probably not for everyday or fashionable use unless you're expecting trouble. Occasionally European nobility wore hauberks and stuff to events but often they just carried fancy swords.

       @confederatehobo @roadkilleater have you seen that ad for, I think the brand was Safelite or something. They had soft body armor rated "IIIA+", so it does what ideal soft armor does with some rifle protection too
