@benjaminbellamy Podcast Index has a logo/icon, but I realized that Podcasting 2.0 doesn't really have its own. (The "i" logo seems more for the index than the 2.0 standard.)What do you think about working on one together?

@benjaminbellamy That's cool, but I suggest illustrating "next generation" with a number.Also, it seems to be using the same Apple Podcast semicircles. It stinks that their icon is so good but so proprietary!

@theDanielJLewis @benjaminbellamy In my view, Podcasting 2.0 is a thought, not a thing with a logo.We have the Podcast Index. That is a product.We have “the new Podcast Namespace”. That is a product.Worth using the right terms - or getting someone with marketing understanding into this group. We don’t have one, and that worries and concerns me. As is evident from Leo’s chat, or Todd’s “tags vs features” thought, we lack marketing know-how.

@theDanielJLewis @benjaminbellamy I would also add: as one example, the transcript tag is *four* different file types. What does “support” mean here? If I only support one file type, is that “supporting” the standard, even if all apps who use transcripts don’t support that one file type? It’s all a bit of a mess, and we need rigour and focus to make this thing a success.

@mikeneumann @theDanielJLewis @benjaminbellamy Couldn't disagree more on Leo's relevance. As we've shown with people like @Todd_Blubrry once they understand, they are our strongest ally. Leo seems to agree on everything about ad-revenue and the threat of big tech.

@benjaminbellamy I had an idea last night. A "2.0" where the top of the O has the RSS logo in the curve, and the dot can help make a hidden "i" in the 0.I'll try to sketch it out.
