While everyone’s hellthreading about women I’ll say that a good part of the reason I’ve taken to telling guys to just suck up the age gap and date downwards is because you’re better off just taking a woman along for the ride. In talking with girls, they have a running complaint that the guys don’t seem like ‘men’ in their gut, but they can’t put into words what that means. I’ve come to suspect that the boys are getting their roles mixed up. Women want a captain, a leader, someone with strength to shelter her from the world as she builds a cute little nest underneath him. It’s not entirely the boy’s fault. They’ve been told all their lives that they should only desire a woman who’s an “equal partner”. They end up wanting a woman who’s capable, mature, who doesn’t add stress to his life. Except when they get that strong, mature, operational woman they’re disappointed to see the way she’s put together - because she was built under the direction of retards. (This is how college grads end up single, she becomes way too set in her weird ways and tries to vie for dominance against her bfs because she’s assumed this pseudo-husband role all on her own)I get that it’s tough and life is a whole lot going on. Adding a lady to take care of, to manage, lead, and steward in life is kind of a big ask when it seems like you can barely keep everything going all on your own. Having a mouth to feed, an aimless chick looking blankly at you whenever a decision has to be made, is a big ask. You’ve been told that you’ll find an equal partner who’s every bit as capable as you to help you out in life. It seems daunting to accept that you’re basically 15% father to a woman who’s every bit as inept, intimidated by life, and mature as you were at 18, but that’s the kind of material that will bloom into a proper wife and mother with the right environment. Grandpa always said the two most important traits in a wife are “malleable” and “kind”. I see little to disprove him.

Sam’s funny, and he’s been able to grow to a surprising level of maturity….but he’s still an undisciplined comedian. He’s never lived a hard, grueling life in all his paths. That grants a very unempathetic, limited worldview. The more you suffer, the more you learn, the more your heart grows (if you’re smart enough to learn from it). I’ve got a cousin who just got dumped and I’m worried about him because he’s thinking he missed out on his only shot. But he was retarded all the way through. He thought he’d be getting engaged soon and she dumps him. He’s mopey, but there have been multiple times I catch up with him and hear about him putting his ‘friends’ first instead of spending time with her. Like when they were finally ‘together’ and he was all excited, he bailed on hanging out with her to play whatever game came out last spring. In his mind, it was totally fine because she said she “might pick up an extra shift anyways” (a lie to make him not feel guilty for canceling a friday night date that she would think is a standing appt). So he, having limited spare time, didn’t even offer it to her, deciding instead to go a week and a half until hanging out with his ‘gf’ again. When I told him that’s not gonna work for long he got uppity about how “she doesn’t own me! It’s not like I have to ask her for permission to hang out with my friends!”, really missing the point that he’s telling her that she’s less engaging and enjoyable than online video gaming. And he did that a LOT from what I saw. I’d hear from his siblings that he hardly ever did anything real with her, she’d just come over and “hang out” in his room.Just very solipsistic, rookie mistakes. It’s like seeing a 24 yo learn the same shit I did at 15, and no matter how much you warn him he just ignores it thinking THIS girl is “cool” so he has unlimited leeway to jerk her around

It seems like feminism has actually accomplished their goal - turning women into men. The irony in this is that being a man is fucking hard. No one gives a fuck about you, ever. It just is what it is, we all know it and we accept it and go on with our day. I spent a lot of time in the last few years giving dating advice on reddit and actually had a couple of girls talk to me for months about their relationship problems and I did what I could to help, but here is what I found: 1. Women seem to lack father figures. Many women are actually looking for strong father figures. 2. Women don't seem to be able to tell the difference between "aggressive" and "assertive" men. Frequently over reacting to displays of masculinity while simultaneously getting turned on by it and then being confused. 3. Women don't actually care about their careers (some do, but a lot don't) 4.
