Boomers refuse to acknowledge that they lived in a time where an actual human being would bring a bottle of milk to their door every week.So go ahead and call young people entitled but we know the truth. We know you were just big dumb milk bottle drinking babies.

@lowqualityfacts I'm Gen X and we had milk delivery til 1982I lived in Canada so in the winter we'd bring in the frozen milk and try to defrost it for cereal if we had none left - a gentle balancing act cause you don't want hot milk

@lowqualityfacts In my neighborhood all but one family had just one car and dads took it to work. Moms stayed home. I can only imagine my mom walking to the store with a flock of 6 kids under the age of 9, then lugging a carton of heavy glass bottles of milk back to the house. We had milk and bread delivered. The Fuller Brush man and the Watkins man sold a variety of products door to door.It was a life saver for mother's of the time.

@lowqualityfacts Of all your low quality facts, I would never have expected such a strong reaction as against milk delivery. The third rail of low quality fact comedy.

@lowqualityfacts My dad was a milkman. I still feel nostalgic about receiving a home delivery and NEVER being worried that someone would take it. (It wasn’t all roses for Boomers though, we had three black & white TV stations, had to wear dresses to school, and had to memorize everyone’s telephone number.)

@lowqualityfacts Dunno about milk but in our crappy old Brooklyn walk up apartment building we had weekly delivery of real seltzer in real pretty clear or blue siphon bottles, along with a glass bottle of uBet chocolate syrup when we were running low. #seltzer #Brooklyn

@lowqualityfacts my father, a dairy farmer, brought our milk in time for breakfast after he'd milked all the cows. That was good milk too. Years later, when I moved to town it was delivered and tasted watered down. Supermarket milk still does, except in the last year or so some brands are doing it right.

@lowqualityfacts It was always a welcome sight: the milkman with a large container that we took our own cans to fill from. And the bread was delivered daily too. It needed to be because the food technologists hadn't worked out the chemistry to make it last for months at that time. There was an actual horse as well as the 'actual human' involved in the transaction. But I'm a little pre 'Boomer' (much as I hate to use that stupid word)
