       even though i don't use cohost anymore, i might also consider making my bot use cohost alongside mastodoni did register an account with the handle on cohost, so, maybe i should do that before i leave people in confusion for longer lol

       really it'll be no different than how i've been managing my twitter bot lol, if it posts to my discord then it worked, if it didn't when it should've i need to check it because it most likely didn't post to fediverse either

       another update, i'm barely getting this thing to work lol i need to get seperate functions to generate the title, and get the hashtags to be part of the actual tag instead

       i think i finally have something going here, looks good enough to me at leastlast couple things i need to do is figure out how to make the bot boost itself 12 hours later, and see if the multi-post thing works as well

       something i might also do is try to include the english hashtags at this point, and some other stuff since i'm updating this boti already added "in Japan" to this as well, to make it so people who don't understand timezones (americans) stop bitching at me lmao

       @deejvalen nope! but there's been an unofficial API for awhile, it uses pythoni think the creator of the API followed me on cohost after i announced i'd try to use it lol

       @deejvalen i've worked with python, the only painful parts of it is working with PIP, and working with how various linux distros fuck it up somehowoutside of that it's easy enough to program in

       @arcana nope, this bot just uses JST because it's based off japanese twitter's pokemon days. it's that and, for my timezone at least, it gives me like 14 hours advance of pokemon days, which is nice lol
