Sometimes I want to keep some political posts from other instances visible to nnia members because they spawned interesting discussions, but if the point in question violates nnia rules and one of you reblog it, there are two options: you un-reblog it, and it stays where it was, or I delete it and make it invisible completely. I think the second is something that would upset everyone in this situation. And I don't really like doing that.

@comrade_lecter I mean, one of the main hazards here is that people boosting posts is one of the main ways I _find_ interesting discussion, so the lack of boosting actually deeply inhibits interesting political conversation in and of itself.

@irratizomb maybe, at some point when the situation is more stable, I'll allow these posts on nnia. But for now it feels unsafe.

@comrade_lecter Which is an understandable position. I am not complaining, just pointing out the obvious because sometimes even the obvious should be said explicitly so it can be put on the table with all the other ideas and concepts around something.

@therisen what I'm worried about is our hosting. But if there appear more places we could use for nnia's server if our current host kicks us, or if (ideally) we become fully independent here, it's gonna be safer to experiment.
