       @laureen1allen @georgetakei What is  more sickening appears to be the  lack of media coverage.  Granted  I from the UK,  it may not be that important to our news outlets,  but this is part of a much bigger picture that is of international importance.

       @zleap @georgetakei @laureen1allen Totally agree. I’ve seen no media coverage outside of social media and this should be widely covered. I don’t live in Fl but as a US citizen I’d want to know.

       @zleap @laureen1allen @georgetakei I agree. The media is literally touting DeSantis as a viable presidential candidate. Journalists seem oblivious that they themselves will be targeted if a fascist like DeSantis comes to power. The damage he’s done as Gov of FL is catastrophic. That’s what they should be talking about. He will do worse if he’s given the powers of the presidency. He & MAGA would deal a death blow to our democracy. No journalists needed after that. Only state media & propaganda.
