       @Bioalchemy13 Looks a bit like a "cloche à fromage" which is used to display the cheese you will eat at the end of the meal, while protecting delicate nostrils from the smell.Also, keep the cheese cool when it's a bit hot outside.Of course, I don't know what it is exactly. that's just my guess.

       @Bioalchemy13 Yep, French people have those too.I did think this was a bit too small for a "Cloche à fromage", but it was hard to guess the size on the original picture.
