I don't get the big thing about those drone bombers. Are they actually better than crewed bombers somehow?I thought the main advantage was political: Because they're uncrewed they're considered less of an escalation than bombing with a crewed vehicle, and also they're more expendable. But in this case the Ukraine is already using crewed bombers and jewlenski doesn't give a shit about the goy crews.

@Eiregoat @IAMAL_PHARIUS @Terry Pilots take a long ass time to train. By the time a decent pilot is ready 10 new planes could be made. The Germans learned this this problem the hard way during WW2. Drone pilots have a 100 percent survival rate for being shot down.

Right and I absolutely do think that's the future, for other service branches too. I just don't get why drones themselves are considered such a high tech high priority target.Or why everyone panics when one gets shot down and the enemy might get their hands on the super secret 1940s technology of radio control planes.

@Eiregoat @Groomschild @Terry @IAMAL_PHARIUS The reason why they do panic when one gets shotdown is because everyone saw the Drone as the Killer from miles away that never got shotdown and would replace Planes in the future, its more of a "my ideal future war is being destroyed"For Example, when Byawhatever Drones destroyed a bunch of Russian stuff, it was sold like those drones were a wunderwaffle that would alone stop the Russians, now you don't even see then being bought up by Ukraine because they are so easly shutdown.

@Eiregoat @Groomschild @Terry technology wise its old. but part of the weapons package they are sending are hellfire missiles. If nato is helping them with EM warfighting, intel, they can reach out and take a fob. or say the wagner's Prigozhin. Probably will only be a PR victory but their purpose is not to win the proxy war. Currently ukraine air power is zero. they dont have pilots or planes to do that.

Drones have become an integral part of this war. None of those drones so far can launch a missle like a hellfire.These will get blown up quickly though the bayraktars went over like a wet fart remember those.
