       On Thursday, January 26, 2023, my friend and New Leaf Journal colleague, Victor V. Gurbo, happened across a distressed pigeon with a large amount of twine tied to one of its feet. This is the story of how Victor, with a little help from me, captured the pigeon and removed entanglements from both of its feet.
