@thedesertlynx1\2Is really easy, you dont need a node/relay.You only need to download a client, there are plenty in the making and some quite nice and usable.I use Amethist for android. There is iris.to for browser and Damus for IOs(waiting to be witelisted on appstore, beta avaliable afaik)The client will generate a public key and a private key, and that is your identity. You handle it like you handle your keys in a Bitcoin wallet.* * *

@thedesertlynxIt works kind of like this.Your clien join several relays. @thedesertlynxAmethyst on andorid is a little bit more polished and fast but it lacks lightning, maybe that isn't an issue for you but that is the current state of the app.
