In general, we recommend #TUXEDOOS on our devices. However, the two rolling release distributions #Arch Linux and #Manjaro offer themselves as alternatives to TUXEDO OS – albeit without our official support.https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Arch-Linux-and-Manjaro-on-TUXEDO-computers.tuxedo

@tuxedocomputers I'm running Arch under my Stellaris 17 and have everything working except I haven't found a way to change the keyboard backlight color. All in all I'm very satisfied.

@tuxedocomputers @alemacilenti as an avid arch user, this article seals the deal: my next laptop, whenever I get one, will be a tuxedo. thank you for taking the time to address distro specific requirements for hardware compatibility

@tuxedocomputers Hi, please see Ticket#990965971. You've asked me to wait until a next version which would fix the issue, but issue is still present.I have followed instructions on https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Infos/Help-Support/Instructions/Installation-of-keyboard-drivers-for-TUXEDO-Computers-models-with-RGB-keyboard-.tuxedo (installing the drivers is not sufficient). However, I reiterate that so far I'm very impressed with my Stellaris 17.

@alemacilenti Hi again, there appears to be some kind of misunderstanding. Support let me know, they never told you it would be fixed with the next version, just that it would be fixed, while unsure in what version. So please bear with us, it will be fixed.

@olaf_anthony Tumbleweed is known to work just fine after installing some TUXEDO tooling.
