@dcc Linux fanboys are there own worst enemy. They always cry about mass adoption of the Linux desktop by normies and everyone else, at the same time gatekeeping and being total jackasses towards BSD, Windows, and MacOS users. I enjoy using Linux for it's performance and the tools I need on it for music, but the community can fuck off.

@tyler @dcc Not every kernel developer is a reprobate, but they do have a lot of them. More and more increasingly you have a lot of sex pest deviants in software development.

@dio @dcc I and the admin of this instance are the biggest OpenBSD fans on the fedi, I have been involved in OpenBSD advocacy and the community since the 6.1 release. I am apart of that community and I have been nothing but helpful and nice toward Linux users curious about OpenSBD.

@dio @dcc I understand the misconception, OpenBSD users tend to have less patience toward stupid questions and people unwilling to read a little bit before asking, because documentation is such a core part of the OS. However, with Linux, I just get attitude and immaturity over petty things and often the users really don't even know how to use Linux deeply, they just have superficial understanding of things. Everything in the Linux community comes off as memes and edgelord behavior, not seriousness about learning computers and using software to it's fullest. Just make take, I could be wrong.

@dio @dcc I was a long time Ubuntu user and still like it. I just use Arch for the documentation and am trying something different. I also use Alpine Linux on my Pinephone and Armbian on my ARM boards.
