       A misogynist signals his virtue on fecebook, commenting on my statement "Biological sex is real, immutable, binary, and ASYMMETRICAL". He thinks he is very smart and humanist. My jaw has figuratively dropped; how can he not be horrified by his own words?        i looked up that book he recommended and it appears to be a wet hairball of “well, is ANYTHING real???”-type incoherence, presumably with the typical objective of muddling all distinctions between right and wrong, truth and falsity so as to validate “you can actually be born in the wrong body, bigots”

       @ninapaley I was really flummoxed by "over-emphasis on a under nuanced overly human-centric and merely biological view of humans", especially who is not human in this equation? Anyhoo, so I followed Stefan's modest recommendation and wikied Karen Barad (they/them) and found: "In addition to Bohr, their work draws a great deal on the works of Michel Foucault and Judith Butler, as demonstrated in their influential article Getting Real: Technoscientific Practices and the Materialization of Reality." which tells me all I need to know, really
