       The outrage culture is slowly taking over my Mastodon timeline as well. I’m here for genuine human interaction, to learn about someone’s day or favorite hobby. Instead, I get outrage about protests, police, climate, big tech… I don’t care. Time to start curating my followings more strictly.

       @jorijn I come to the fediverse looking specifically for #tech and #photography related submissions. As, that's what I try to use my free time to look at it and they are more personal interests. I agree in that I know what I want from the fediverse, and I aim to look for it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

       @jorijn @reaply I'm with people curating their timelines to include only content that they came for. That is not some sort of privilege, it is choosing to get my news from different (more reliable?) sources that social media. And it is not like your blocking this content for any other users as mastodon admin.
