       @MartinDeLaToot AR frame with a forward assist, so not all bad. Don’t know the manufacturer but it’s probably fine a plinker and you can decide if you want it as a primary weapon after the dirty 1000 rounds.

       @MartinDeLaToot AR frame with a forward assist, and flat top rail, so bad. Will need optics or iron sights from somewhere. Don’t know the manufacturer but it’s probably fine a plinker and you can decide if you want it as a primary weapon after the dirty 1000 rounds.  Can Barbie doll it up with aftermarket add-one if you want, and if for some reason you have issues with it you will be able to buy replacements for any parts from multiple manufacturers.

       @MartinDeLaToot For close I'd pick a shotgun, and further distances I'd get a .308 ... if you like the 556 round and a gun this size the price is not outrageous.
