       @jeff they should. or their studios should... but that will only happen in a world with mass adoption of #fediverse applications.even with all the crap going on private social media websites, most people just don't want to lose the huge number of followers, or don't care enough about the flood of neofacists and other knuckleheads. sadly.

       @jeff I hope so 🙌I think that at least for governments, NGOs, news agencies, and other things that do some sort of "public service", it makes a lot of sense owning their servers. so they can't be shadow banned, suspended or somehow inflicted by the dark tactics private social media uses.
