       It's International #Holocaust Remembrance Day todayI am only here because each of my grandparents survived the Holocaust with their own amazing story.However, each of them had siblings and parents who died.  Which means most of my family died.I toyed with the idea of posting photos of my grandparents today but, instead, here is a photo of my grandfather's sister, with whom I share a name.Pre-war, photos were sent to family and friends who lived outside Europe - mostly to people who had immigrated to Palestine.  In the 90's and 00's my aunt undertook an epic genealogy search to find records and photos of our lost family.  This is one of the photos she unearthed.As I type this, it occurs to me that I do not know the exact details of how most of my relatives died, this great-aunt included.Indeed, I am not sure that I want to know...
