       Just as soon as deep learning models crack the "show me a video of [this person does not exist.jpg] talking with dialog from ChatGPT" we are going to see a deluge of entirely AI generated shite "reality" TV shows with titles like "Hot or Bot?",  "My Big Fat AI Wedding", and "Real Hotwives of AWS"—purely as eyeball candy wrapped around ads for laxatives, hearing aids, and reality discrimination goggles.The future is hyperrealistic generative wallet-dipping spam on all TV channels,  24x7x52.

       Also, think of the porn.Oh dear god (and by god I mean Cthulhu), think of the cheesy AI-generated skin flicks! With way too many fingers.(I'm willing to bet porn-trained GANs already exist but aren't on public release because the funding institutions don't officially know and more importantly don't *want* to know about them.)

       @cstross I know of one outfit that has been running a phone-sex service using AI. Labor costs are effectively zero, the customers don't seem to notice/care, and they're making a healthy profit. Been running for at least a year at this point.
