       @stux A good friend’s dad liberated a camp as part of the allied forces. He had lifelong trauma / MH issues after, which he drowned in self medication. He knew himself (and could occasionally articulate) that no human being should see those things, let alone experience them. He talked of the walking skeletons of the still living. As the allied soldiers took their first steps into the camp, the imprisoned reached out to their liberators for help, but keeled over and died of the very effort.
