       If we start the crazy project of supporting many softwares of the fediverse with their dedicated api but also with the ability to discover them without having an account, do you thing that raising funds for that goal is justified or not?

       @apps I'm worried that support for Mastodon will fall behind. There are a number of bugs that seriously impact the interface, and it seems that effort is going into new systems rather than fixing and polishing the existing ones.

       I think that @apps means by "raising funds" this: to do what it's been doing so far, first keeping the GPlay paid app, and second encouraging users help this project with money.Isn't it exactly this way, #fedilab ?@maxganz

       Works for me, having one full featured commercial-quality app definitely costs something. It will mean a lot to Fediverse too - enough of half-baked solutions 😀

       @apps Yes, if you can sustainably maintain everything without creating single points of failure (e.g., "the" Mastodon dev, "the" Misskey dev, ...). It's not a "project", it's a product!Also, make payment & donation options available  that don't require people to hand over their data to kraken companies like Google or PayPal.

       @apps #noAccount options are always welcome. Will there be light versions that only support, say mastodon, in order to not clogg your phone's space? Payment options, as already mentioned, should be available. OT: Is there a fedipay-thingie going on? German banks still charge tremendous amounts for international money transfers (even EU; and have the gall to hold on to the money for days, while stock brokers transfer billions by the nanosecond).
