@Mummabear I remember one of those science personalities, probably Neil DeGrasse Tyson, saying something to the affect of, "Why are all the politicians former businessmen, lawyers, and military men? Why can't we elect scientists, artists, and philosophers?". Well, I think we've tried that experiment now, and unsurprisingly the artsy types turn out to be the biggest tyrants. It reminds me of how the most effeminate Roman emperors were the absolute worst, mostly as a product of their cowardice. Whereas hardened soldier Emperors often pulled Rome back from the brink of destruction.
