@stux did you every change the BMP for the shutdown screen?what I was a kid it was en vogue to replace "Sie können Ihren Computer jetzt ausschalten" with "Sie können Ihren Computer jetzt wegschmeißen"...

@iwamoto @stux Handheld Windows...What is this? Interesting. @freeschool @stux So this is running within retroarch on the dosbox pure core, i didn't test a mouse yet, but it has a USB port and the whole base OS is android so i think it should def. work, let me check out samegame, thanks :D

@stux One that I can surely say about those OSes and computers is that we were bloody good with debugging and doing RCA (OS level issues and app related issues). No Google, no stack overflow. We learned how to catch the issue and fix. These days, my juniors run straight to one of us the moment they fail to find a solution on StackOverflow.

@stux I remember my first Windows upgrade from 3.1 to Windows 95. I believe the same year or shortly after I went from a 28.8 to 56k modem and thought I was in internet heaven. At work we had T1 speeds as I recall at the time though but took many more years to get broadband at home.

@stux Ah yes, the Counterstrike Server Starter Kit. I remember it well.Then I made the mistake of getting a dual proc accelerometer. Had to go with boring old NT for a spell.(And yes, the Windows ME splash still gives me the cringe-shivers.)
