Spotted in Florida today. The red splotch on the crotch is quite the look. Given that this protest was staged outside a Burger King, I’m surprised they didn’t go with “Don’t let them take the topper off your whopper.”

@sethcotlar Yes, it's true that there is some portion that hold anti-semitic beliefs. There's some bleed over with the men's rights crowd, which leads to further problems. The use of words like "mutilation" are problematic and distracting.However, as someone who has been part of the intactivist movement for 20 years now, I think people are FAR too quick to dismiss people who oppose non-consensual genital cutting of children.Please don't joke about it.

@stannenb @sethcotlar And yet the very real existence of this anti-Semitism does not invalidate the larger point that medically unnecessary, non-consensual genital cutting of children is an unethical violation of the autonomy and integrity of the child.

@sethcotlar Respectfully disagree: 40 years ago, when we had our kids, the strong trend was against the cut; can't recall, even remotely, any discussion or thought of semitism; anti or otherwise. It was simply considered (as contrasted with my parents' time) an unnecessary procedure.
