       @CrimeaRiver Really matters what kind of cake and what kind of pie.  Carrot Cake vs. Cherry Pie? I go with Carrot Cake.  Spice Cake vs. Pecan Pie?  I go with Pecan Pie.  Ice Cream Cake vs. Chocolate Cream Pie?  . . . some questions are too hard to answer.

       @CrimeaRiver @DaddyO not really. I mean... I suppose it's kinda similar, but only similar. You see, those are made with raw ground potatoes, eggs, flour and spices. I personally like to add some chopped up onions and bacon to the mix, but that was never original recipe :)
