       @mia i'll defend cheap ketchup as one of the wholesomest of human's marvel: you use it to make things that taste awful suck lessburned rice? no problem, add ketchup on topburned chickpeas? add ketchup on topi shall be eternally grateful to the mind who discovered something to turn bad taste things into good taste thingsdon't use it on good tasting things otherwise you'll ruin them that's the whole purpose

       @sugarbell @mia i have to confess idc if it scares you ketchup is just ketchup: take tomato, fry it, add spices, vinegar, fry it some more, fry it, mix, fry it, fry it againwhen i cook something bad or burn something i’ll suffer the consequences of my own idiocy, already too much food is thrown and people suffer from hunger.even if i don’t burn things often anymore ketchup is the most de-facto effective for those situations, emergency use onlyheckies, the whole US and UK made a whole culture of bad food around it! :meow_laugh:if you remove ketchup from the equation all of that will collapse in its very foundationsif you’re seeking an educated palate sauce go for it, the world is your oyster!yet ketchup will always be ketchup
