@lowqualityfacts In what universe are they technically correct?Medium calibre, selective fire, interchangeable box magazine, and lower mass than a traditional (meaning Great War/Second World War) service rifle. An AR-15 is darn near definitively an assault rifle.(You could make a silly argument that the AK family are submachine guns with pretensions, give Soviet objectives in designing them, but that'd still be silly.)
