       Not sure I'll continue to use Instagram much longer. It's a pic or two from a friend and then endless sponsored posts (aka ads), accounts it thinks I'd like (wrong) plus suggested Reels (not interested). 90% of the time I open the app and there's nothing I want to see.

       @jameskoole Zuck and company are taking Insta and Facebook down the same path of enshittification. 50% ads and sponsored content. It's like hanging out with your friends in a really crappy mall that's about to be condemned. (#enshittification borrowed from @pluralistic with gratitude.)

       @santoast @jameskoole @pluralistic LinkedIn went down this path years ago, maybe that was the point, a professional network grooms the very people who create websites, use SEO, run business so everything appears normal.
