@stux This would certainly make doing business in America so much easier. I prefer directness also. There is so much FLUFF in office communications. Or as I ask my husband when he asks for an opinion on something, "do you want my full opinion?" :) But when I tell him I like something he has written or made, he then always knows I really mean it. :)

@stux as a Pole I resonate with this a lot, we're very similar in this aspect. I had to specifically learn how to handle chit-chats and small-talks so that people don't think I'm a rude boor, especially online.
