What doth entertain me somewhat is the knowledge that most of these people hating on Clarkson probably help finance the schooling that gave him his level of wordsmithery, and are probably still clutching their soft toy now. "The very first Paddington bear soft toy was designed in the UK by a lady called Shirley Clarkson. She made it as a Christmas present for her children, Joanna and Jeremy Clarkson". 😂

@noagendatea Whhhaaaa?! I had no idea.I've always liked Clarkson, warts and all. I had 2 other clips in the works, but this one made me laugh the most. . .based almost entirely on @Johncdvorak calling him a "dick" which I'm sure is true, and then @adam calling him a "national dick treasure." :)

@jennifer "national dick treasure" was a perfect summary. The people English call "you dick" most are usually friends when they did something stupid or funny. In Clarkson´s case it is usually both at once, hence his high status on the national dick register.

@MartinJJ @fcgreg Thank you both! This was an experiment to see how well it would go and how quickly I could do it.I have been inserting a lot of the "real" clips lately as much as possible. Saves animation time, but also lends credibility I think.It took some creative clipping to get it to work, but I learned a lot and will likely do it more in the future. I like when Adam and John comment, etc during clips for context (and humor!). :)

@jennifer How you even make such cute animations? Is that some kind of software where you draw it all yourself? How many hours does it take you to do an average clip? I bet in the end you really can’t hear them anymore 😏

@jennifer @MartinJJ @fcgreg Insert the clips on a monitor in front of @adam and/or @Johncdvorak as if they've pulled it up (pull that up Jamie) then zoom in on it or hard cut to it.Just an idea.Also, it's time to age these two a little, they're old men screaming at clouds these days 😉

@MartinJJ I use a piece of software that is meant for training and marketing (which is why I originally started to learn it for a client). I intend to move to Adobe Animate this year, which will give me a lot more flexibility.The average is about 3 hours per minute, but this last one had that learning curve of inserting the clips and adding in J&A comments. I didn't track the time. I was having fun trying to sort it all out. :)
