@lagrange Lagrange is so good, how exciting! I wish I could browse html/http with it because it's so fast and clean!Seriously, if you see this post and aren't checking out #Gemini or #Gopher go give Lagrange a try! The web is text (and fun) again!

@CodexArcanum Lagrange does support HTTP proxies, so while the app doesn’t (and won’t) directly access the big web, running something like Duckling Proxy in between will get you most of the way there: https://github.com/LukeEmmet/duckling-proxy

@lagrange There is a small visual bug in the preferences dialog (GTK prefers dark mode, and lagrange in dark mode. But I have tried different combinations and the selected preference item turns out to be black on black everytime).https://hail.thebus.top/honk/1674310532725963798.png

@lagrange Awesome release like always! A question about a feature I'm missing in all gemini browsers: is there any chance too see bookmark / identity sync? I've lost my history once which was painful enough. Thanks for you hard work!

@khalid At least in theory I could build one you self-host, by automating the user data export/import. It could work pretty well as a backup and sync service, although I’m sure the devil is in the details.

@lagrange @mascal I’ll take a look. Haven’t seen this on my Linux systems, though. That gave me some doubts (I am using a self compiled Debian package), but I cross tested with the AppImage, and the issue is similar. Poke me if you need more infos, or maybe opening an issue on Github is preferable? The window also seems to be missing an icon…Oh I forgot to mention that 😳 Only the preferences dialog has a missing icon, if I move a tab to a new window everything is alright.

@mascal Sure if you could submit a GitHub issue that would make things easier to track.

@jk self-host would be awesome, and yes - the devil is ALWAYS in the details 😁 I'd happily test drive it and report any bugs though.
