🇺🇸 MTG, George Santos, Boebert, 45, DeSantis, etc. etc. etc.I am wondering if it's finally happened. I am so overwhelmed and hopeless with the state of my country that I'm ready to chuck it (she said never in 50 years), and focus on beautiful photography and cute kitties and dogs. 😢

@Piousunyn I hear you. I can't imagine ever becoming apathetic. I need to tone it down a bit to stay sane. The advent of 45 did this to me.

@PeggyJoan @Piousunyn I feel the same way--although I place part of the blame on the Democrats in power who have their heart in the right place, but don't have the fighting spirit of the Republicans. Which often allows the Republicans to get away with what they do.

@Sfwmson @PeggyJoan @Piousunyn YES! That's EXACTLY how I feel! I don't think the Democrats are evil or have some kind of underlying conspiracy. Rather, they constantly bog themselves down on detail and policy and place no priority on being swift / decisive / aggressive.LBJ, FDR, or Truman would never have allowed the Republicans to get away with what they do. We need someone in power like them now.

@nandor @Sfwmson @PeggyJoan FDR upset the oligarchs apple cart so much, they definitely decimated the middle class and now we ser the results. Right to work states, Citizens United, the constant division of people by difference. tax the poors, this is the short list paidbfor by oligarchs and corps.
